The Best Vintage Twin Beds

All the best splurge and save twin bed vintage options for toddlers, kids, and teens

If you are slightly outraged to see this post because you know I just built E an amazing Pottery Barn esque floor bed then… me too.

It’s true last year I crafted this super awesome floor bed for Eli’s new big boy room, complete with star lights and safari vibes.

Easy DIY Toddler Floor Bed

It was wonderful but sadly my three year old had to go and make it dangerous by wanting to climb on top of it and jump off like he has super powers.

So far his only real power is finding my last nerve and covering it with play-dough…

Due to his new found interest in learning about gravity Adam and I decided we might need to take a time out from the floor bed and try a regular bed until he gets a bit older.

I have been swooning over this Crate and Barrel Maple Wood Spindle bed for a minute now, but I am not sure I can trust my toddler with a $900 bed…

But the vintage character of this bed is exactly what I want for his room, just at a lower price.

So I did some grade A vintage twin bed research and found a ton of amazing options in case you are looking too.

Iron Vintage Kids Bed

Instead of spending $900 on E’s new bed I found this great alternative for less than $300!

This bed is made of metal which makes it chew proof (if you know why this matters you too might have a toddler) and very durable.

It was super simple to put together and I paired it with this wood side table I found on Facebook Marketplace for a little extra charm!

This frame looks so classic and I love the detail on the spindles.

You might get lucky and also find one on Facebook Marketplace, I searched for weeks and could only find a few I really loved.

Unfortunately they were all in rough condition and fragile, as I mentioned earlier we need durability in this house…

Next on the list will be adding some fun wall decor above his bed, anyone have any fun ideas?
